Mission

Raise $50,000 for life-saving medical treatments for uninsured patients while advocating for healthcare reform regarding the over-reliance on antibiotics versus safer, more effective treatments like Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

Highlights

  • Activities Planned: Live performances, games, food, and drinks.
  • Aesthetic: Described as “Sophisticated Cirque”—expect black-tie attire, ethereal lighting, avant-garde performers, and a high-end atmosphere (not a children’s carnival).
  • 30-Day Digital “Sideshow”: A “Star Performer” will be revealed every few days to build anticipation and keep attendees engaged.
    In-Person Auction: Featuring products and services designed to enhance the lives of donors while providing learning opportunities.

The Case for Support

  • Medical Crisis: Osteonecrosis of the Jaw is a progressive, life-threatening condition. Insurance does not cover dental restoration or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for this condition. (See the medical fact sheet for further details: [Insert Link])
  • Systemic Policy Gap: Lack of oxygen to damaged tissues perpetuates infections. Over-reliance on antibiotics risks creating more damage and contributes to antibiotic resistance, a significant global health threat. This issue increases the risk of developing “superbugs” like ampicillin-resistant Enterobacter spp.
  • Goal: Raise $50,000 to cover hyperbaric sessions, specialized surgery, and recovery costs while advocating for safer treatment therapies that address the underlying problem.

The “Creative Council”

We are seeking pro-bono volunteers for the following positions, which will be publicly acknowledged during the event:

  • Operations: Executive Producer, Stage Manager, Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Professional: CPA / Treasurer, Legal Counsel.
  • Growth: Marketing Specialist, Media / PR Lead.
  • Storytelling: Lead Videographer / Documentarian.

Capacity and Amenities

  • Capacity: Up to 300 people (“standing-room” or “cocktail” style setup, with limited seating)
  • Amenities: Two performance stages, commercial kitchen, bar and an adjoining garden patio.

Event Milestones

  • Feb–March: Recruitment of professionals and sponsorship outreach.
  • April 15: Launch of the “30 Days of Wonders” online auction.
  • May 16: The Live Gala and celebration of the $50,000 goal (date announced when the founding sponsor is secured).
