These people can really help the rest of the performers (donors) of this great event shine bright.
- The Acrobat Director (Event Planner): Helps people achieve perfect balance and amazing feats that the audience thought was impossible. You will manage a complex, high-capacity live event with a critical medical mission which is a great resume builder. (Prior experience with weddings or auctions is ideal.)
- The Digital Illusionist (Marketing/Web): Transforms websites into stunning visual acts, with a “Meet the Performer” profile for each donor. Provide gamified options to increase engagement such as releasing auction items in waves to maintain “bidding momentum” and keep supporters coming back. Bullet points, images and QR codes are essential in the mobile environment. . Good news for marketer is that I have a great relationship with the CEO of Fundrazr and have a direct line to him. The product they developed is truly SPECTACULAR for our mission! (Experience with online and written materials is critical, so that all performances by donors sparkle.)
- The Financial Tightrope Walker (CPA): Balances the books with incredible precision. We require setting up a special account so funds are not co-mingled. We need carefully kept records of all incoming funds, auction item details, how the money is spent and compliance with sales tax requirements. Managing donation offers and fulfillment follow-up is very important to assuring a smooth experience between donors and bidders. (Experience with special trust funds and or auctions is ideal, but not required.)
- The Ringmaster of Red Tape (Lawyer): This role is vital for risk management. Controls the chaos of legal systems and directs the show of contracts and compliance. Reviews contracts and insurance. Manages the relationship with on-site security and has a keen eye for safety, good health and enjoyment by all.
- The Future Fortune Teller (Financial Planner): Since the beneficiary has complex medical needs, this role might specifically look into Special Needs Trusts to protect the long-term success of the funds raised.
- Royal Menagerie Manager (Volunteer Leader): We need a caretaker to make sure all the animals are well fed and cared for. We will need extra help for performance stage management, setting up our donor displays, managing the door, offering food and beverage. The role requires someone experienced with communicating in advance and setting up everyone for success and handling challenges as the arise. Identifying skilled volunteers will require close coordination with the event planner.
- The Memory Catcher (Photographer): Captures the moments of the show that we will want to remember long after the circus leaves town.
